Job Description Functional Responsibilities:

Understand and Deliver the project in accordance with the project deliverables & schedule.

Establishes and defines the required project organization/team; coordinates staffing with discipline line managers.

Ensures accurate, comprehensive and timely project reporting.

Should be able to make Room data sheets + equipment lists + URS’s of process equipments + Make Basic Flow diagrams of the process.

Ensure that organizational and statutory standards on safety are met during entire execution cycle.

Discusses with the Original equipment manufacturers and other utility vendors the project requirements and is able to do a Technical comparison of their respective techs.

Communicating with the relevant teams inside and outside the organisation and resolve their respective queries

Establishes and maintains effective client relations that result in active cooperation, prompt payment and stimulate the desire to award follow-on work.

Desired Skills and Experience Specialties:

Process Design Review; development of process flow diagrams and layout from plant view.

Should have experience in Conceptualizing the project to Basic Design; Detail Engineering.

Engineering Coordination during various phases of Project between teams for Process + HVAC + MEP + CAD etc.

Preparation of Equipment list; Equipment Layout drawing for Production plant etc.


Should be able to manage all disciplines within the project – Process – HVAC - CAD – UTILITY - Electrical etc.

Should be able to handle various vendors / 3rd Parties involved. Coordinate with them and share relevant data – timely.

Be a bridge between all vendors -> client -> internal team.

Educations Qualifications:

Degree in Chemical Engineering from recognized university preferred.

Masters preferred. Experience Bracket:

Minimum 8-10 years’ experience with reputed Pharmaceutical / healthcare / chemical (API)/ Biotech manufacturing organization engaged in projects / process departments.

Should have direct handling experience of minimum 4 EPC projects if applying for the role of Asst. Project Manager. Skill Sets:

Strong Leadership skills

Decision making

Conflict management and strong interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel to job sites during execution of the project Common Sense

Good communication skills in English.


Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and other basic tools required General:
