Job Purpose:

Accountability:

  • Monitor the timely and accurate settlement of equity trades for accounting & NAV release
  1. Monitor timely and accurate security & related master creation
  2. Monitoring timely equity settlement through STP
  3. Monitoring timely & accurate provision of trade data including margin payments for cash-flow
  4. Monitor effective coordination with IFO, Brokers and Custodian for smooth flow of operations

  • Ensure timely accounting and valuation for timely calculation funds NAV's
  1. Monitor timely accounting of equity trades
  2. Monitor timely & accurate accounting of corporate actions
  3. Monitor timely & accurate equity portfolio valuations across funds
  4. Timely verification of debt accounting and valuations across funds
  • Ensure timely provision of MIS for management review financial reporting, audits and projects
  1. Monitor Timely and accurate release of the daily, monthly and yearly MIS
  2. Monitor accurate reconciliation of the TBR policies on monthly basis
  3. Liaise with other departments for investment related reports
  4. Monitor timely provision of data to internal, concurrent and statutory auditors.
  5. Monitor monthly asset liability matching.
  6. Monitor timely provision of schedules for financial reporting.
  7. Facilitate project related activities

  • Ensure timely support as back-up for Cash Management, Settlements and Investment Accounting activities
  1. To provide appropriate back-up support to Cash Management, settlements and Investment Accounting team
  2. To update self on the various regulatory changes and its impact on the complete function and the organisation
  3. To maintain parallel check for NAV calculations

  • Continuously drive towards automation of the daily processes and reporting for better TATs and accuracy
  1. Standardize and enhance the daily processes for better accuracy and reduced TATs
  2. Automate the manual processes to eliminate manual intervention
  3. Coordinate with vendors and IT team for project implementation across system interfaces viz - M-Fund, CRISIL Bond Valuer, BILAV, POALD systems, etc

  • Team Management
  1. Set team KRA's & monitor performance
  2. Guide the team members in performing their tasks
  3. Facilitate training and development programmes for enrichment of skills & knowledge for the team
